As an aspiring youngster, he tried stand-up comedy. Although his stand-up show was not successful it helped pave the road for his acting. Unable to find success in the field of comedy, he picked on a position as cameraman on television at a cable channel. Through working, he began to discover that he wanted to be on camera. Through a handful of episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he was able to get a television part. He was an naturally talented actor who soon gained a lot of attention in the world of television. After establishing a successful movie career, his funny performances brought him a lot of fame. His fame grew by playing the titular superhero from Tim Burton's Batman.
